With guidance from your coach, you begin to set competitive goals like setting a PR, qualifying for Nationals, completing or competing in an Ironman

You will receive a periodized training program that will evolve with your changes in fitness and availability. A periodized program involves building each week with an increase in duration and intensity with scheduled recovery weeks (drop in volume and intensity). You will be tested and retested to ensure proper progression in volume and intensity.
Coaching involves flexibility and communication to allow for questions and encourage learning, regular feedback on your training log, plan adjustments to optimize your training.
I will be able to respond within 24 hours to changes in your health, injury status or social life and make instant changes in your program to allow the training plan to effectively continue without interruption of the final goal.
